The Adventures of Topper premiered on radio June 7, 1945 with the final episode presented on September 13, 1945. Although the program enjoyed a brief run it was a very popular program and was soon to become an extremely popular series on television. In addition to the radio series and the television series several movies were also produced staring Leo G. Carroll playing the part of Cosmo Topper.

The series is about a bumbling banker, Cosmo Topper. His friends, George and Marion Kirby died, but they came back to see that their affairs and holdings in the bank are being managed properly.
